Their Story
Mango came to Bridge City Veterinary Rehabilitation for an initial rehab assessment and was diagnosed with a medial patellar luxation (MPL), a condition where the kneecap slips out of its normal position, causing pain, limping, and reduced mobility. As a real-life Super Dog, staying active was incredibly important.
After her initial rehabilitation assessment, Mango was referred for corrective MPL surgery. Following her surgery, our practice developed a personalized recovery plan that included therapeutic exercises, Class IV laser therapy, and underwater treadmill hydrotherapy to rebuild her strength, improve her mobility, and support her healing.
With plenty of determination—and the support of her dedicated family—Mango made fantastic progress throughout her recovery.
Today, she's back to doing what she loves most: being a Super Dog, including driving her famous little car! Watching Mango regain her strength, confidence, and mobility has been incredibly rewarding.
Congratulations, Mango! We're so proud to have been part of your rehabilitation journey.
